Artist Jay Rolfe is a car buff. "Body in white" is a term used in the auto industry for the unfinished car at the design stage. It still needs a lot of work before it's ready. That describes the 3-D Shaped Stretched Canvas painting of a Ferrari I am currently working on. All the canvas is now stretched for this 3DSSC painting and it looks like a body in white.
